Personal Reflection
An outline of the criteria for this thesis and my personal reflection on the outcomes.
AE 481W/482 + AE 897G Reflection
In my opinion, I benefited greatly from The Architectural Engineering Senior Thesis Project, gaining knowledge and skill sets that will be useful for my career path in the future. I was able to immerse myself in a large scale project and successfully integrate different building systems to function as a single unit. By discovering new programs for analysis and utilizing their strengths, I was able to understand the importance of integrated design strategies and multi-objective iterations in a design process. While some of the work load on the forefront of the project seemed a bit tedious at times, I do think that this design process taught me how to big scale problem solve and discover new skills that will enhance my capabilities as a professional in the field. Overall, this has been a rewarding experience for me.
CPEP Evaluation
Designing a website was a new challenge that I was excited to accept, allowing me to discover the potential of graphical representation and aesthetics. This was my first real experience designing a website and the knowledge I gained will be useful for me in my future career. The website program I used required a bit of a learning curve, however it truely provided a user friendly interface that expanded the capabilities of design and personal expression.
